I am passionate about travel because you learn that places, culture and people can change, but we are reminded that at our core we are all similar. The life you live is not the only way to live and there are many ways to live and be happy.

One of my greatest travel memories is from age 11 when our family travelled together for two and a half months. We flew to Frankfurt and spent 2 months in Germany. We then sailed from Rotterdam to New York on the original Holland America Rotterdam ship (family car in cargo hold). We drove from New York to Montreal, stopping at Expo 67 and then back across Canada to the west coast.
